I have put so much time and energy into building up my cybersecurity blog, and then Google just delisted it out of nowhere. Moreover, it took down a site that actually followed the rules and produced quality, unique content, while some low-effort websites fill up the platform with spam. How is it that this system, designed to foster good content, punishes those who play by the rules?
My attempts at appealing? Utterly useless. I have gotten nothing other than generic, robotic responses from them. So, it's very obvious how much they value the real creators out there. Sheer opacity and inconsistency—these are but a manifest display of abuses of power. Clearly, Google can take down legitimate websites with no accountability, and yet the true perpetrators—spam, clickbait, and fake news—remain free. Where will we find the sign that we can trust a company rigging the system to its favor with no transparency in the name of fairness?
The fact that Google has unchecked power to decide what content we are allowed to see online is nothing less than dangerous. It's time to find a platform that actually supports creators, not one that silences them without explanation.
See you on another platform soon.
